Audi TT offroad concept

Audi presents at the IAA in Beijing, China, the Audi TT offroad concept, study of a compact crossover based modular MQB platform and very close to Audi Q3 forms, although eight centimeters lower.

 This plug-in hybrid system features the innovative Audi Wireless Charging, which enables remotely recharge the car without driver intervention.

 The Audi TT offroad concept is based on the new, third generation of the Audi TT by presenting a design inspired by the sports car. Inside, the forms are also based on the new Audi TT.

Audi A3 Cabriolet now on sale

With three different engines, two petrol and one diesel, the Audi A3 Cabriolet has an option the cylinder deactivation system  and debut the all wheel drive system quattro.

The Audi A3 Cabriolet range extends from the cheaper the  1.4 TFSI with 125 horsepower), to the more expensive S Tronic 1.8 TFSI quattro with 180 horsepower). The only diesel engine available is the 2.0 TDI that delivers 150 hp.

Audi with profits of 49.9 billion

The Audi group, which includes the brands Audi, Seat, Lamborghini and Ducati , announced a net profit of EUR 4014 million in 2013, 7.7% less than in the previous year, showing a profit of EUR 49 900 million, ( 69 161 million Usd) 2.3% more than that achieved in 2012.

The CEO of Audi, Rupert Stadler, who assigned part of the decline recorded at 'significant investment' in research and development (R & D), which was around € 3,500 million, 10% more than the amount achieved in the previous year.

However Rupert Stadler  qualify as "extraordinary" the year 2013, also ensuring that 2014 will continue 'this path of success. "

New Audi TT

Audi showed the first official sketches of the new TT. The sport car will be officially presented at the Geneva Salon in March.

The drawings show a close to the original generation, the 1998 Audi TT, also confirming inspiration in the Audi R8 range.

The new Audi TT is distinguished by a more aggressive and dynamic styling with the four rings logo to go on the grid for the lower section of the hood and with new air intakes.


The new Audi TT will be equipped initially with 1.8 TFSI with 180 hp engine and 2.0 TFSI with 220 hp. Subsequently, the range will be enhanced with a four wheel drive version and super TTS quattro version. At the Paris show in September, will be presented the Roadster variant.
